“Biosecurity”…was a set of preventive measures designed to reduce the risk of transmission of infectious diseases in crops and livestock (Wikipedia). Make it more understandable… how to “reduce the risks of disease entering the herd”. Every house has its fence and doors to “separate” the inside and outside. Same as your farm, the “inside” and “outside” of your farm are needed to be justified to avoid unnecessary “things” to get into your farm and harm your pigs. Let’s take your time to recognize a good “biosecurity” strategy that best prevents ASF and other diseases in pig farming.
