on Philippine Livestock Market |
|

|
|
According to Livestock production posted a 1.25% increment. It contributed 17.11% to the total agricultural production. Higher outputs were recorded for cattle, hog and dairy. The gross value of livestock production amounted to PhP 75.4 billion at current prices or 0.25% lower from last year's level.
Production of poultry increased by 5.41% during the quarter. It shared 16.74% in the total agricultural output. All poultry commodities exhibited production gains. At current prices, the gross value of poultry production amounted to PhP 55.4 billion, a decline by 3.66% this period. |
